Spectrofluorometers

ISS K2

The K2TM Multifrequency Cross-Correlation Phase and Modulation Fluorometer is a frequency domain fluorometer with picosecond resolution. Its optical design and automatic instrument control are state-of-the-art for steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence measurements. It is connected to Spectra Physics 161B Air Cooled Ion Laser.

Steady-State Measurements:

  • Corrected excitation and emission spectra
  • Excitation-emission matrices
  • Excitation polarization spectra
  • Polarization (anisotropy) measurements
  • Millisecond kinetics in photon counting mode
  • Dual-wavelength ratio metric excitation or emission measurements

Time-Resolved Measurements:

  • Multiple decay times from milliseconds to picoseconds time scale
  • Anisotropy decays
  • Phase-resolved spectra (up to 3 components in a mixture)
  • Time-resolved spectra
  • Lifetime measurements with blank subtraction
